Silly question. The 360 and Wii are selling extremely well. People forget that Sony once dominated sales in Japan. Well it's not. In barely beats the 360 by around 2000 a month. While the 360 beats the ps3 by an average of 50,000 in NA.
Anybody that believe the ps3 is all of a sudden going to catch up to an 8 million console lead is just plain stupid.
Sony can't afford a price cut. Sony is on a brink of bankruptcy and would be suicidal if they did a price cut. They need to hurry up and profit from each console sold and keep the price point that way they'll finally see some positive dollars.
On a related note, I live in San Francisco and the Sony store at the Metreon was the mecca for the playstation platform. Huge lines would form for the big release. Big gaming tournaments were held there. Had lots of fun in the Madden ...

Butt hurt? Why would I be? I already played and beat this game long time ago. I just corrected his statement about 1080p and answered his question. I haven't seen any blood splatters on any of the gameplay videos but if their is than I stand corrected.

Since most games are 720p, a 720p set is the perfect gaming tv. Playing 720p games in a 1080p set would result in gaming lag. Very small lag but noticeable in games like Guitar Hero or Madden.
A lot of people confuse native 1080p with upscaled 1080p. Big difference. A lot of people believe that Ninja Gaiden Sigma is native 1080p. Not true. People need to realize that 1080p only matters when your playing at least a 50 inch screen. Anything less and 720p is the perfect resolution. No difference between both resolutions in lower than 50 inch screens. Plus with 720p you usually get a much higher and stable framerate than 1080p which is much more important.
